FedEx One Rate is a simple, flat rate pricing option for FedEx Express® package shipping within the U.S. It is for customers who want predictable and easy-to-understand pricing options, while still receiving the reliability and excellent service they expect from FedEx. It’s the perfect offering for consumer and small-business customers.
FedEx Express U.S. domestic shipping services are available to ship using FedEx One Rate pricing supported in OrderCup are
- FedEx First Overnight®
- FedEx Priority Overnight®
- FedEx Standard Overnight®
- FedEx 2Day® A.M.
- FedEx 2Day®
- FedEx Express Saver®.
How does FedEx One Rate work in OrderCup?
First retrieve the order you are going to ship using one of the following methods:
1. Go to Orders page. Click the Ship link under the Action column of the Orders grid
2. Go to Ship page. Enter the Order ID in the Input Box right under home tab. Hit Enter key or click Fetch Order button.
The order is now loaded with the options (like Service, Package Type) set based on your Requested Ship Method. You can change these options as required for your shipment.
Selecting FedEx One Rate Service
Once the order is loaded on the Ship Page, click on the Service drop-down.
You will see a list of services that are applicable to the current source and destination for the shipment, based on the carriers that you have configured and the corresponding shipping services that you have enabled for each of the carriers.
To use FedEx One Rate choose one of the shipping service from the following shipping services - FedEx First Overnight®, FedEx Priority Overnight®, FedEx Standard Overnight®, FedEx 2Day® A.M., FedEx 2Day® and FedEx Express Saver®, and then check the Fedex One Rate check box on Ship page.
Similarly select the required Package Type (envelopes, paks, tubes and boxes ranging in size from small to extra-large box) from the Package Type drop down.
Once you are done with setting the required options you can click Get Cost button to see the Shipment Cost for the shipment.
Click the Print Label (or Print PDF) button depending on whether you have direct printing configured via OC Direct in OrderCup under Settings --> Carriers --> Printers), The FedEx label will print directly to your configured label printer (or to a PDF on the screen that you can print to the printer).
