Starting June 3rd, 2024, UPS is changing the way UPS API Authentication will work, from using their current UPS Access License Keys to the new more secure OAuth 2.0 Security model. After this date the old Access License keys will be deprecated and will not work. We will deploy these changes effective May 30, 2024.

If you use OrderCup's built-in UPS Account, there is nothing for your to do as we will migrate the OrderCup UPS Account to use this new Authentication scheme. However, if you use your own UPS Account(s) in OrderCup (the My UPS  Account setting), then you must Authorize your UPS Account(s) after the deployment date for your UPS Accounts to continue to work.

Existing UPS Account

Here are the steps to Authorize your existing UPS account in OrderCup.

1. Log into you OrderCup account as a User with Admin privileges.

2. Navigate to Settings --> Carries and Fulfilment --> UPS. Now select the account you want to Authorize click the Authorize link for that row under the Action column

3. You will be taken to the UPS.com website. Please login with your username and password.

4. After you login to your UPS.com account, and the Authorization is successful, you will be returned to OrderCup and a Success notification will  show briefly at the top of the screen. That's all there is to it!

NOTE: Once your UPS Account has been successfully authorized under the new OAuth 2.0 security model, the link will change from Authorize to Re-Authorize
